Alexis Angliviel de La Beaumelle One foot in fine wine, the other in dynamic cuisine — a man of elegant passions.

From a Bordeaux lineage rooted in the wine trade since 1815, Alexis could have followed a traditional path. But for him, tradition rhymes with intuition.

With a business degree, he became a classified growth wine broker at just 22. For 14 years, he embodied trust and neutrality in the world’s most demanding market: Bordeaux. Sauternes became his domain, great wines his focus.

In 2012, he moved into the spotlight — as Commercial Director of Château Tour de Pez, then Petit Bocq, then Château Fourcas Dupré. He built networks, refined brand identities, and forged strong ties with the trade.

But behind the wine man was a hidden chef — a 17-year-old who once fell in love with cuisine during a summer in a Relais & Châteaux kitchen. Thirty years later, Alexis decided to close the wine chapter and open the culinary one. In 2023, he began formal training to become a chef. This time, passion leads the way.

Didier Galhaud Rooted vision, quiet elegance, and measured boldness — he embodies the Sauternes of today and tomorrow.

Born in Saint-Émilion and shaped by the family wine trade, Didier chose the field over the expected path. At a young age, he managed a wine distribution company while studying business. For him, wine is not about image, but transmission.

He first made his mark in Provence, managing 90 hectares, before returning to Bordeaux. In 2006, he joined Château Guiraud, a Premier Cru Classé in Sauternes, where he stayed for 14 years. A discreet builder, he pioneered wine tourism and helped create a restaurant on-site.

As Commander of the Commanderie du Bontemps, he exemplifies the balance between tradition and reinvention. In 2020, he took over Château d’Arche, another classified growth — but in truth, he was preparing something more personal: a project that would carry his vision.

Didier is more than a wine professional — he is a cultural guide, a natural host, a lover of soulful places. His approach? Wine as emotion, luxury as balance, hospitality as art.

Pascale Galhaud The art of combining elegance, detail, and a passion for meaningful stories.

Originally from the North, with a heart rooted in the South, Pascale has led many lives: brilliant marketer, discreet businesswoman, exceptional host… and inspired cook.

She met Didier at business school in Paris. Together, they form a rare duo: complementary, bold, deeply human. After a career in wine distribution, she returned to school to earn a Master’s in Marketing, then made her mark in animal health with Hill’s and Virbac, refining her brand sensibility and customer focus.

In Sauternes, her intuition blossomed. In a historic building, she created La Sauternaise Luxury B&B — a place of charm and refinement, just like her. Homemade cuisine, food & wine pairings, thoughtful decor, attention to every detail… she even earned a professional cooking diploma.

Awarded the Trophée d’Or for hospitality and recognized by the Michelin Guide, Pascale represents a new kind of hospitality: sincere, elegant, generous.
